## About the talk

I bought a perfectly ordinary domain. Shortly after, email meant for a bank started pouring in, and suddenly I was holding access nobody should ever have sent away. This is the true story of how I became a bank manager overnight, entirely by accident.

The story is funny, but the point is serious: it shows how easily sensitive information goes astray, and how much an attacker can achieve when other people make small mistakes. Along the way we go through the most effective anti-scam tricks that exist today, for individuals and companies alike.

## How the talk is structured

This is my signature talk, and it works equally well at conferences, open evenings and leadership gatherings. The length is adapted to your program, typically 30 to 45 minutes, and it usually ends with questions from the audience.

## Practical details

No technical background needed. Delivered in Norwegian or English. The story is first-hand and documented, and everything sensitive is, of course, anonymised.
